Register Your Local Group

We believe a powerful global network of groups campaigning in their local contexts is essential to stop the climate crisis. Join us!

Thank you for being part of a local group working for climate justice! Your group’s work, alongside the thousands of other groups out there, is the heart and soul of this people-powered movement.

This is the place for linking your group to the wider 350 network. Here’s how:

  1. Check that your group meets the 350 network guidelines
  2. Understand what it means to be a part of the 350 network
  3. Submit your group application

350 Network Guidelines

To be a part of the 350 network, groups should:

  • Be a local (or regional) climate change initiative led by a team of 3 or more people
  • Meet regularly (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
  • Be open to new people joining your group
  • Read and agree to the 350 Organising Principles
  • Broadly align with 350’s mission
  • Don’t overlap with another registered group in your area without shared understanding or agreement
  • Be willing to participate in national or global campaigns and events at least occasionally

Groups do not need to include “350” (or “Fossil Free”) in their name to be a part of this network.

If your group does not yet match the above criteria, find more information about forming groups, and/or get in touch with your questions.

What does it mean to be a part of the 350 network

Here is some of what you can expect by being a part of this network:

  • Appear on 350.org’s list/map of local groups making it possible for new members to find and join your group.
  • Receive coaching/support from 350.org volunteers and/or staff, depending on your needs, and depending on where we have volunteers and/or staff.
  • Receive invitations to meet others in the network – virtually or in-person.
  • Receive invitations to participate in training, skill-sharing, and/or strategy development.
  • Access digital tools and website hosting for your group.
  • Receive invitations to participate in specific campaigns, projects, and mobilisations.
  • Occasionally hear about opportunities for funding, usually tied to specific campaigns, projects, or mobilisations. (That said, 350.org is not a funding organisation, and these opportunities are rare).
  • Groups in Africa can join our continent-wide network on the AfrikaVuka website, which will also link you into our global network as well as the regional one. So if you're in an African country, please use this form to register, and you'll be a part of the global network too.
