Stockholm Documents Some Work, and Some Party

Our friends in Stockholm took the day on 10/10/10 to bring the issue of climate change front and center for people in the city.  It's hard to avoid wondering what people are doing dressed up in skin-tight suits of sun, water, and wind – especially when they are sitting next to you on the subway.  Activists gathered in the city center for a flashmob style dance-off as well as a 'panda dance' that was maybe a little easier to dance along to for passers-by.  Urban gardeners presented their work and a Climate Recruitment Agency signed up new activists.

Here are two videos put out by our partners from the day.  Thanks to all, and for a full list of everything that happened, check out the event page here.

Freeze New Fossil Fuel Development

Governments meeting at the next climate conference must put their Paris pledges into action -- and action means no more room for new fossil fuel projects.
