London’s Science Museum has launched an exhibition about the damage climate change is causing to a vital ecosystem in Latin America – the Pantanal wetlands – all while taking sponsorship money from oil giant BP and coal giant Adani.
Indigenous leaders in Brazil are calling them out. Stand in solidarity by commenting on the museum’s social media posts.
Let them know, greenwashing is not okay. You can’t tackle climate change while giving legitimacy to the corporations causing it. They need to cut ties with fossil fuel companies now!
Let’s send them a message on every possible channel so they can’t miss it. Let’s flood their posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky.

You can’t pretend to care about climate change while giving legitimacy to the corporations causing it. I urge you to stop taking money from BP and Adani immediately.
It would be good if you could point out your sponsors Adani and BP are causing the problem in this exhibition too.
You need to listen to Indigenous leaders and cut your ties with the corporations that are causing this destruction – stop taking money from BP and Adani.
Warning people about environmental destruction of vital ecosystems due to “deforestation, intensive farming and climate change” at the same time as partnering with the industry causing it is pure hypocrisy.
Why are you taking money from BP and Adani? Stop helping rehabilitate the image of oil and coal companies causing the climate crisis!
