Jackie Royce, co-chair of the Back Bay Green Initiative,
and co-chair with Joan Rossetti of the Environmental Affairs Committee
of the Prudential Center Residents Association convinced their
neighbors in their 3-building apartment complex to replace 3,637
incandescent bulbs for energy-saving compact fluorescent bulbs,
comprising 29% of 780 units. That's a lot of energy expended, and a lot saved!
