I wanted to share quick update from Las Cruces, New Mexico where a group of friends has raised money and donations to install a set of solar panels on a local homeless shelter to save it money on energy (and eventually make money by selling power back to the grid).
The crew in Las Cruces just put up a picture of a crew of installers from Positive Energy Solar who just put up the racks for the panels up on the roof — for free!
