Today people at more than 7347 events in 188 countries got to work to take on the climate crisis. The video captures early footage of events from the 10/10/10 Global Work Party across the globe starting with sunrise in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Highlights include: a cycle rally in Bengaluru, India, children planting trees in Vietnam, a climate carnival in Balik Kampung, Indonesia and President Nasheed putting solar panels on his house in the Maldives.

We estimate that on 10/10/10 over 100,000 trees will be planted, over 100 solar panels will be installed, hundreds of homes and buildings will be weatherized, cyclists will ride over 1,000 miles, citizens will clean up at least 500 miles of coastline, and much more.
