It’s day two in Copenhagen and lots of developments are afoot. You may have read that a so-called Danish Proposal was drafted weeks ago, it’s been circulated among other developed countries, and a leaked version of it appeared today. It undermines many calls for equity from developing countries and illustrates what happens when a small selection of countries move forward on an agreement that must be truly global. This weekend, thousands of you will participate in vigils for survival, elevating the call of solidarity from around the world.
