Young people from the southern state of Kerala belonging to organisations like Green Dream, Make a Difference, Young Indian, Kochi Vibe along with AISEC and British Council staged a flash mob dance at the Oberon Mall in Kerala. At exactly 3.50 pm, about 200 people who had taken positions already started dancing bringing the entire mall to a virtual stand still. The event marked the 100 day count down to Copenhagen. After the sensational display of salsa, the youth start talking about climate change, carbon emissions and the importance of 350 & the Copenhagen Summit.

If it is dance to grab the attention in Kerala, it was a plantation drive by the youth in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Armed with shovels and saplings they went about planting saplings, made the local community adopt them and talking about the importance of 350 ppm.
