We’re part of an international movement of ordinary people fighting for a fairer future for all. Together, we campaign and organize, locally and globally, for a fast and fair shift away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy for everyone, for good.
Our goal is a world where everyone enjoys a safe, healthy environment and access to clean energy. Where communities have the power to shape their own energy future, and share in its benefits.
In Canada, we are committed to pushing our elected leaders to take real climate leadership by freezing fossil fuel expansion and delivering a just energy transition. We do this by working with local frontline groups to fight harmful extraction projects, mobilizing thousands of people across the country to pressure federal decision makers, and nurturing a strong, growing, and justice-centered climate movement.
Our name is a compass
350 refers to 350 parts per million — the maximum level of carbon (CO2) in the atmosphere safe for people and the planet. Every fraction of carbon pollution we add makes the climate crisis worse. We are currently at 432 ppm, and are working to drive this number back down. Our name is a daily reminder of what's at stake, and why this is the fight of our lives.
