Not on our dime. Not on our watch. Make Big Oil pay for climate chaos.
The federal government is reviving toxic tar sands pipelines, gutting key climate policies, and undermining environmental protections and Indigenous rights. These moves don’t protect Canadian workers – they just make Big Oil billionaires richer while endangering our communities and the planet.
Help us fight back. All summer long, people all across Canada are organizing to:
As wildfires burn across the country, millions of people are feeling the effects of a rapidly heating world. Unfortunately, due to a combination of industry propaganda and media silence, not enough Canadians understand what’s driving the climate crisis: fossil fuels.
The basic science is simple. The longer we keep burning fossil fuels, the hotter the world will get, which means ever more dangerous heatwaves and wildfires.
Help us get the truth out there and spread our vision for bold climate action that addresses the root cause of wildfires and extreme heat while making life better, and more affordable, for people and communities everywhere.
We’ve sent e-mails, we’ve made phone calls, we’ve even visited them at their offices – how have they responded? By shutting us out as they double down on a reckless fossil fuel agenda. The government is now planning to spend tens of billions of our taxpayer dollars on a toxic west coast pipeline that will endanger ecosystems, enrich the billionaire class, and worsen the climate emergency for the rest of us.
Enough is enough. No peace for climate burning politicians.
Canada’s on fire. Nearly 1,000 wildfires, burning from coast to coast, are forcing thousands of people from their homes. Millions of others across Canada are experiencing extreme heat and breathing in toxic smoke this week. And our government is pouring fuel on these crises by trying to fast-track pipelines and expand oil and gas production. To add insult to injury, they’re planning to finance these projects with tens of billions in taxpayer dollars.
That’s why, on July 21 we gathered for an Emergency Action Call where we announced our plan to fight back. Watch the recording and take action now!
Tell Prime Minister Carney
Carney is using Trump's threats as an excuse to grant Big Oil everything on their wish list.
He’s striking deals to revive toxic tar sands pipelines, gutting key federal climate policies, and undermining environmental protections and Indigenous rights. All of these decisions make Big Oil richer while endangering our communities and the planet.
Let’s stand together to reject this toxic pipe dream and demand a livable future.
Big Oil billionaires and their political allies are trying to persuade us that fossil fuels are a source of stability and growth. But we know that new fossil fuel expansion only offers short term profits for the powerful few – while unleashing death, destruction, and skyrocketing energy bills for the many.
We know that Canada needs to accelerate the transition to affordable, reliable renewable energy instead of building new pipelines that lock us into fossil fuel dependence.
Across the country, communities have been gathering to push back against oil and gas propaganda and build support for the energy transition.

Many people across Canada are accepting Big Oil propaganda. It’s our job to help remind our communities just how bad pipelines are and just how climate action makes life better and more affordable for all of us.
Use this conversation guide to have conversations with your friends, family, and neighbours about why more pipelines are not the answer.

In December 2025, 350.org and Common Horizon partnered up to host an Emergency Call to Resist Climate Chaos. Guest speakers Janelle Lapointe and Eve Saint broke down the Carney government’s just announced a toxic deal with the Government of Alberta
