Anne Schroeer joins 350.org as Fundraising Director 

350.org is thrilled to announce that Anne Schroeer is joining the team as Fundraising Director. In this role, Anne will oversee global fundraising at 350 and help diversify its funding into more countries to support the organization’s mission of stopping all new coal, oil and gas projects and building a renewable energy future for all.

With a unique experience that combines campaigning and fundraising, Anne comes to 350 from Oceana where she led the organisation’s global campaign to curb plastics. Prior to that she was responsible for Oceana’s European income from foundations and major donors. And with her deep campaigning background, at Oceana, in her former positions she has planned and run campaigns for the protection of sharks, fought overfishing, illegal fishing and fishing subsidies and founded and led the organization’s Baltic office in Copenhagen. 

Before joining Oceana, Anne was the Head of Major Gifts in Leonard Cheshire Disability and she worked for Greenpeace International and the Pew Charitable Trusts. Anne holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Culture and Media from the University of Lueneburg.
