#Tell Deutsche Bank: stop funding Total and EACOP

Deutsche Bank is trying to secretly profit from Total’s East African Crude Oil Pipeline.

This pipeline hasn’t even been built yet but it’s already forcing 100,000 from their land. Anyone who opposes it is at risk too: activists 350 works with have already been attacked, harassed, intimidated and arrested.

On Tuesday, Maxwell and other activists gave evidence to the UN on the human rights abuses Total is and will be responsible for in Uganda and Tanzania.

We can’t let this big bank get away with funding destruction and misery. Help us expose them and the crimes they’re sponsoring by taking to social media.

  3. In the comment, link to this Friends of the Earth France and Survie report and write how angry you are that they are funding Total’s East African Crude Oil Pipeline. You can mention any of the following:
    • That it’s forcing 100,000 people off their land.
    • Caused activists to be attacked, threatened, and arrested. 
    • Will release over 34 million tons of carbon pollution every year.
    • Will mean oil wells in Uganda’s oldest national park.
    • Risks poisoning the water supply of more than 40 million in Uganda and Tanzania.
