Take action: #DrawTheLine with us – from wherever you are!

This September, we are coming together for powerful actions on our streets to Draw the Line against injustice, pollution, and violence, and for a future built on clean energy, and fairness. But in some places, like in Nepal and in Indonesia, ongoing political and social conditions mean that it has become too unsafe for large gatherings.

If you’re based in a context like this (or can’t join in-person for other reasons), no need to worry or feel left out! Out of care for our partners and communities, we’re opening a safer global social media solidarity action so everyone can still raise their voice and be part of this movement.

Wherever you are, you too can now stand in solidarity and show the world you’re ready to draw the line — against climate inaction and corruption, and toward equity, peace, and real climate solutions. Here’s how you can take part in just three simple steps:

1. Create your message

Write your message on a piece of cardboard, banner, or any available material. You can also download and print one of these ready-made message cards:

  • “It’s time to draw the line against climate inaction.”
  • “We draw the line against corruption and greed.”
  • “Draw the line toward equity, peace, and real climate solutions.”

2. Share your selfie

Take a photo of yourself holding your message (like these samples below!) and post it on one or all of your social media accounts on Bluesky, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Sample solidarity selfies You could do a groufie too if you like! 😅

3. Join the online movement

Use the hashtag #DrawTheLine so we can track and share your action with the global movement.

So no need to wait or worry about your safety. From the streets or from our homes, hundreds of thousands of us are uniting. Together, our voices will show the world that the time for real action is now.
