These photos are from this past Sunday. Our friends in Tajikistan learned of some of the international conferences being held these weeks to continue addressing the climate crisis, and they took it upon themselves to match that at the local level. These are just two of several images of villagers who gathered for 350 roundtable discussions to coincide with these international meetings. And they promise more to come as well.
This is what it takes—if we're going to change the course of actions at the UN negotiations level, we still need to begin with the grassroots in sharing information and taking action in all our local communities and countries around the world.
