Brooklyn, NY — This Sunday, organizers of the September 20th NYC Climate Strike will hold one of the last public art-build before next Friday’s march. This comes as the NYC Department of Education announced it will excuse absences of all students participating in the Strikes.

On Sunday, participants will paint massive parachutes, banners, signs, flags, and more. Spokespeople will be available for interview.

WHAT: Final art-build ahead of massive Sept 20th climate strike

WHEN: Sunday, September 15 from 12 – 6pm.

WHERE: Thomas Greene Park, Brooklyn, NY 11217

WHO: Youth climate strikers, New Yorkers of all ages; co-sponsored by Fridays For Future – NYC; 350.org; ArtBuilt / Mobile Studio in the Park; Artist Gan Golan (TimeSeed); Peoples Climate Movement – NY, and more!
