Applications are now open for the Green New Deal Rising Leadership Programme 2022!

The Green New Deal Rising Leadership Programme is a fully funded 6-month training programme for 40 people aged 18-30. It’s an incredible opportunity for young people from marginalised and underrepresented backgrounds to learn campaigning skills and become leaders in the fight for a Green New Deal in the UK.

Are you able to help us reach young people with information about this life-changing experience? Share the Programme with your networks, friends and family:

Or here’s the link to the website, if you prefer to share it in another way.

No campaigning experience is needed to join the Programme – we’re just looking for young people with passion and energy who want to make change happen.

We’re recruiting young people from 10 specific places to be part of the Programme:

Bangor (Wales), Bolton & Bury, Falkirk (& Forth Valley), Hayes & Southall (London), High Wycombe, Lincoln, Liverpool, Sunderland, Wakefield, and Wolverhampton.

Over the course of the Programme, participants will take part in two training weekends with some of the UK’s leading climate campaigners, have opportunities to plan and take action with other young people in their area and around the country, and get support and resources to get started leading the charge in their communities.
