Global Fight to End Fossil Fuels

From September 15 to 17, millions of people around the world will take to the streets to demand a rapid, just, and equitable end to the fossil fuel era.

This historic mobilization renews and reinforces the globally coordinated efforts focused on tackling the root cause of the climate crisis: fossil fuels. The scale of this mobilization and the urgency of the moment underscore the devastating impacts of recent record breaking heat, deadly floods, and increased extreme weather events. The climate crisis is escalating and in response so is the global movement for climate justice. Across the globe, we are coming together to fight back against Big Oil and its enablers.

Together, we are unstoppable as we build and imagine a fossil fuel-free world.

Migrant Rights Network Day of Action

We know that climate justice is a global fight and that means Canada must play a critical role in ensuring justice for all the people forced to migrate after climate catastrophe strikes.

Climate justice means regularizing all undocumented people and offering permanent resident status for all. On September 17, 2023, the day before Parliament returns, we are following the lead of our friends at the Migrant Rights Network to unite in massive cross-country actions to demand that the Trudeau government ensures equal status for all migrants.

Parliament Resumes

Parliament will resume again on September 18th and we are planning to make sure that every single Member of Parliament hears from us on their first day back in Ottawa. It’s been a summer of unprecedented climate catastrophe and we want to help as many people as possible call on our elected representatives to act with the urgency this moment demands.

Action details coming soon.
