The 350 movement is picking up steam in Nepal.

In just a couple of weeks over 80 youth from around Nepal and South Asia will be gathering in the Himalayan foothills surrounding Kathmandu for the first everSouth Asian Youth Summit on Climate Change, where preparations for October 24 is a major part of the agenda.

And just this past week our friends at 350nepal.org have released their inaugural issue of The Journal — a new publication addressing Nepal’s contemporary needs, strategies, and visions with regards to the environment, energy, sustainable development, and climate change.  And this opening issue features pieces by Bill McKibben and a tale of nine women preparing to scale the Seven Summits — the highest peak on each continent — in the name of climate action.  Click here to download The Journalfrom Nepal.
