The 350 movement is picking up steam in Nepal.

In just a couple of weeks over 80 youth from around Nepal and South Asia will be gathering in the Himalayan foothills surrounding Kathmandu for the first ever[South Asian Youth Summit on Climate Change](https://nyca.net.np/saysocc09/), where preparations for October 24 is a major part of the agenda.

And just this past week our friends at 350nepal.org have released their inaugural issue of _The Journal_ — a new publication addressing Nepal’s contemporary needs, strategies, and visions with regards to the environment, energy, sustainable development, and climate change. And this opening issue features pieces by Bill McKibben and a tale of nine women preparing to scale the Seven Summits — the highest peak on each continent — in the name of climate action.
